ok, I am having a lot of fun on www.imdb.com, and here is some stuff I found:
-In "The Road to El Dorado" the two main voices, Kevin Kline and Kenneth Branagh, have both played the title role in "Hamlet" (TV and film versions)
-Richard Briers is the main charature in a TV show I like "Good Neighboors" ("The Good Life") and is in Kenneth's Branagh's "Hamlet" and "Henry V" and a few others.
-Cary Elwes (Westley) had a voice in "Quest for Camelot", and animated move Emily was OBSESSED with for awhile.
-He was in "Lady Jane" with Helena Bonham who did a voice in "Wallace and Gromett, Curse of the Were Rabbit"
I know, I know, I started a story last week and left you all hanging. Fortunately, thanks to blogger Steve Pavlina, I'm up and around this morning, although I've been so darned productive that I almost ran out of time to blog, anyway. On Wednesday, I read Steve's posting on How to Get Up Right Away When Your Alarm Goes Off. "When your alarm wakes you up in the morning, is it hard for you to get up right away? Do you find yourself hitting the snooze button and going right back to sleep?" Yep, that's me, for decades. Steve provides some insight about how he broke himself of this pattern. I didn't follow his recommendation to practice waking up when you're not really asleep, but since I'm a highly suggestible IT person, all I've really needed to do is to remind myself before falling asleep that I'm trying to recondition myself to wake up when the alarm goes off. So far it's been working.
I did an extensive xanga entry about my birthday party yesterday. I didn't feel like adding what I did on friday, but if you want to know about the party, read my new update. :-D
Pastor Tim surprised us last night by choosing to preach his message in "The Coliseum." We got our Certificate of Occupancy on Tuesday, so he decided that the adult service would have worship as normal in the sanctuary, and then move over into the new building for the rest of the service.
We had our first band practice in the Coliseum last night. It was way too insanely loud, but we got everyone going with the new IEMs (In Ear Monitors) and got trained on the lighting system, too.
After rehearsal, we did some more work on the drum mics, so I got a chance to sit in the cage and beat on the new kit for a while. That was pretty fun!
I've posted a gallery of the pictures from this week, and will add to them as we go.
Things are getting pretty exciting around Cornerstone Church this week, as preparations are under way for next week's grand opening of the Ignited Youth Center. We had the sound system up and running on Sunday for tours, and spent a few hours last night preparing for tonight's band rehearsal.
The stage will be sealed and waxed today, and tonight it's time to plug everything in and rock and roll. I'll post updates and more photos later in the week.
So here is something that I think says a lot about our family. Recently on chat 2 of my aunts got into a dicussin about going to the airport dressed as cheerleaders. What is so interesting to me is that one aunt could not remeber doing this. Have we made so many airport trips that they reached the point where they just all blend together? And how many familys do you think have this problem? We need to compile a list of all our airport trips. 9/11 obviousely affected our passion but I think that at this point so many of us drive to Ohio that Luanne and Vicki would stop telling poeple when they were going to arrive.
This is incredible:

The first thing that I noticed while watching the default view of the simulator is that I've been right all along. It only takes one idiot who doesn't know how to merge to cause the daily traffic jam. The effect of a single vehicle on traffic is really pretty amazing to behold.
Back row: Ally, Asha, Leonor, Tommy, Jordan, Binta, Thomas (bad picture of him, haha)
Front row: Rayan, Michelle, me, Ayan.
Went home early: Ayman and Sarah T.
Couldn't make it that night: Sarah O., Jane, Andrea, Connor, and Jenn.
Umm.... my mom wanted me to post this because she thinks it is funny how diverse we are. Yeah. Are names are all pretty boring. Races reprisented (that I can think of) are: American, Somoli, Hispanic, Korean, Ghana(ian?ese?), Chinese, Chinse-Cambodian, Vietnames-Chinese,Afghan and Egyptian.
Yeah, my mom made sure I took a pic to show off our diversity. lol. I will put their names later or something. btw, this is after we ate at an afgan resturant. :-D
